The idea of “success,” for most people, revolves around money or the acquisition of property or other possessions, but we consider a state of joy as the greatest achievement of success. And while the attainment of money and wonderful possessions certainly can enhance your state of joy, the achievement of a good-feeling physical body is by far the greatest factor for maintaining a continuing state of joy and Well-Being. And so, there are few things of greater value than the achievement of a good-feeling body.

—Abraham

I Love this quote from Abraham- The truth is that it is hard to experience the joy available when your body is in distress.

Most people have a disconnect and do not pay attention to the body gently “honking” at first and then getting louder and louder. We drag our body around for the ride, often paying it too little mind; but it houses our SOUL, so we have to stop and pay attention.

You often hear, “I would do anything, ANYTHING, for my health,” for after all, if attacked by dis-ease or dis-order it can put a halt to pursuit of our dreams and desires. A friend of mine died this weekend. He had written a concerto, an amazing piece of beautiful work that he wanted to perform all over the world. He had so many hopes and dreams and had met his soul mate. But he also put his fate in the hands of a doctor at Sloan and was put on trials which ultimately wore him down. I believe if he had gone elsewhere, he would be alive today. But again, we are the directors of our story and you have to respect the wishes of another and their journey.

Towards the end I offered him help from an incredible healer, Donny Yance, who is being interviewed for www.MyHealingRooms.com in April. But he was too tired and it was too late. He had once tried to go on Donny’s regime, but due to his stomach had to stop and did not want to revisit it. And I cannot blame him. I know his soul is soaring and dancing to the beautiful music he created and that he will live on forever.

The message here is…pay attention to your body as much as you do to your mind and desires. It is the only one you get to live in. Honor it and you will have the freedom to express yourself for a much longer time.
